Mannering Colliery is currently approved to produce up to 1,100,000 tonnes per annum (tpa).

Q. Where is the coal from Mannering Colliery sent?

All coal produced is transported from site using the dedicated overland conveyor system to Delta Electricity’s Vales Point Power Station.

Q. Where are the mining areas?

Mannering Colliery will operate consistent with the current approval issued, please refer to the plans appended to the Project Approval for mining areas approved.

Details of proposed future mining activities will be made available on the website, on the Project Applications and Modifications page and/or the NSW Department of Planning and Infrastructure website.

Q. How is the community kept informed about the Mannering Colliery?

LakeCoal has a firm commitment to engage with the community and other stakeholders to keep them informed regarding the Mannering Colliery. The main communication channels for the community are through the consultative committee and the community hotline (1800 687 557). This website will also be frequently updated to include,  amongst other information, relevant environmental monitoring results, approvals, management plans and audit results.
