The Community Consultative Committee (CCC) was formed in early 2009 and meets on a regular basis.
The committee comprises an independent chairperson who is paid by LakeCoal, along with representatives from the company, Lake Macquarie City and Wyong Shire Councils and, most importantly, the community.
