Welcome to the Mannering Colliery Website
Mannering is a small underground thermal coal mine located at Mannering Park in southern Lake Macquarie. LakeCoal will be the operators of Mannering Colliery until 2022 under an agreement with Centennial Coal.
Mannering has been on ‘care and maintenance’ since late 2012.
While on ‘Care & Maintenance’, LakeCoal will continue to meet safety and environmental regulations and will have a small care and maintenance crew on site, as well as a project team investigating different mine designs for the future. Mannering will be appropriately maintained to enable recommencement of mining operations in the future.
